Lead Developer for Camera API Startup

Dublin 1, Dublin, Ireland

Apply

Evercam.io exists to make it easy to develop for live video devices (most people call them cameras).

Our tagline is “Cameras Unleashed” and that’s exactly what we want to do. We want to take those dull grey, slightly intimidating Security Cameras that look down on us from lamp posts and building corners and turn them into accessible, programmable Social Media Cameras, Marketing Cameras, Community Service Cameras, Business Management Cameras …. your cameras.

We do this, above all, by making them programmable. By treating them for what they are - connected devices. The Evercam software can be thought of as a wrapper that hides all the painful complexity of getting those devices connected to the Internet and working out in each case how to get the appropriate image or stream format for your application. A software developer will never again have to worry about what manfucaturer he’s dealing with or how a particular device needs to be configured - leave that to us.

We’re a small, smart team. We’ve a couple of developers both here in Dublin and in Pakistan. We’re working with some great technologies and pushing to the limits what can be developed using APIs and The Internet of Things.

We're looking for a lead developer to work with our Dublin team alongside our founders to build an amazing product.
